Richard (Rick) C. Kreul is an accomplished executive who offers broad strengths in strategic planning, P&L management, new business development, operations reengineering, M&A, and commercial relations.  Kreul has the proven ability to analyze products, services, markets, and growth opportunities, and then introduce strategic and tactical solutions that dramatically improve competitive performance. He is recognized as a skilled team builder, problem solver, negotiator, and risk manager. Kreul has a BS and MS of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.  He currently is a principle at RK Resources, llc, providing business and technical consulting services to broad range of clients, ranging from private equity investors to Fortune 500 corporations, with focus on energy and utility industries. Prior to forming RK Resources, Kreul was an executive at Inergy, LP, responsible for Inergy’s west coast natural gas and natural gas liquids businesses, including customer relations, strategy development/implementation, regulatory compliance, business development, and operations. At Inergy, he also directed the company's NGL/LP transportation business consisting of 225 truck/trailers and 250 employees.  Prior to joining Inergy, Kreul was Vice President of Energy Delivery at Aquila, Inc., responsible for Aquila’s regulated gas and electric utilities “wires and pipes” operations in seven states, 1.4 million customers and 2,000 employees.  In previous employments, Kreul was President of Omega Pipeline, an intrastate natural pipeline, Senior Engineer at Sun Pipeline and Division Engineer at Mobil Pipeline. Kreul has served on the board of directors of the Midwest Energy Association and the Western Propane Gas Association; and is currently a member of the Gas Processors Association.  He and his wife have been married for 31 years, have 2 daughters, one grandchild, and reside in the Kansas City area.
